Job description

As the Inbound Marketing Manager at Appsynth you will be responsible for marketing the Appsynth brand and attracting new clients through online channels and networking events.

Responsibilities

  • Managing Appsynth’s marketing to improve the company’s online presence and increase inbound leads. Writing and preparing communication materials, including blog articles, white papers, social media posts, email campaigns and ad copy.
  • Executing a thorough content marketing strategy and joining online conversations to further establish Appsynth as a thought leader in the mobile space.
  • Nurturing relationships with media contacts and industry influencers to increase brand and product awareness.
  • Identifying and networking with prospective clients via social media channels, and maintaining and nurturing existing relationships with key contacts.
  • Monitoring our market positioning and online presence compared to competitors and identifying opportunities to improve these.

What we need

  • A creative and self-motivated person who is able to work independently and convert ideas into actions and results.
  • You must be confident in your abilities and thrive on a challenge. You must be comfortable putting forward ideas, even when they go against the grain, and confident when speaking in public and networking with people you have never met before.
  • 2+ years experience in the web or mobile space with a background in lead generation, inbound/content marketing and growth hacking.
  • An avid social media user who has experience using Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn for lead generation purposes.
  • Someone who is experimental in nature, eager to try any new techniques and channels that might deliver results.
  • Experience using Google Analytics, managing content on WordPress, and using an email client such as Mailchimp or Aweber is preferable.

The things you’ll do

  • Managing Appsynth’s marketing to improve the company’s online presence and increase inbound leads.
  • Writing and preparing communication materials, including web content, white papers, email campaigns and ad copy.
  • Nurturing relationships with media contacts to increase brand awareness and attract potential clients.
  • Overseeing user research and testing to support our UX design processes.
  • Following-up any inbound sales enquiries that relate to app marketing, analyzing requirements and proposing a suitable strategy based on the brief and budget.
  • Identifying and networking with prospective clients via social media channels, and maintaining and nurturing existing relationships with key contacts.
  • Assessing the opportunity attractiveness of our own product ideas via competitive analysis, market research and validation.
  • Staying on top of industry tools, trends and best practices to ensure our app marketing services are current and complete.
  • Mediating between ad networks to maximize revenues, and brokering deals with new ad sources.
